Down on Grandma Ona's Farm

 Collecting eggs

They were feeding the pigs hotdog buns and this pig REALLY liked Reegan because she was feeding it whole buns!

Belle talking to Bill the horse.

Luke loved the miniature baby goats!  They were so cute!

This goat was almost as big as Reegan so she needed a little help!

Belle was proud of herself for holding a chicken, until it scratched her and then she was done!

Taking a ride around the property!

Belle was wiped out and we still had McDonald's and the park to go!

Luke was in John Deere heaven!  He loved the big tractor!

This was Reegan's favorite part!  She loved the horse swing!

These are just a few of the pictures I took, I didn't want to overload the blog!  I will add more later!

Month of the Young Child Families

For Month of the Young Child, we decided to celebrate our families!  I sent home cut-outs with them for each family member and their "homework"was to decorate each one to resemble the people in their family!  They all did a great job!  We have a special project to do with them, that I will post later!  If you click on the picture it will enlarge it for a better view.
Lane doing the sign for "light"!

She is quite the musician!

Cute book!  The kids loved it!  Great book about being a little different.

What's Inside the Egg? Game

I printed out pictures of the seven items that I put in each egg, marbles, beans, marshmallows, rice, macaroni, and dice.  Then I punched out the colors of each egg I had.  I glued felt on the back of the egg cut-outs and the pictures.  Then I shook the eggs and the kids had to match the color of the egg with what they thought was in it.  All the pieces fit nicely inside the carton for storage!

Easter Bunny Snack

First you mix green food coloring into your frosting!  To make it a little "healthier" you could use cream cheese.

Then you frost your graham cracker to make it look like grass!
Then add two bunny marshmallows, and one jellybean for an Easter Egg!

Egg Experiment

How Do You Make An Egg Float?

You add salt to the water!  The jar on the right has only water in it.  The jar on the left has salt in it.  The amount of salt depends on how big your jar is!  The kids thought it was magic!

Our first time out on bikes this Spring (even though there are still snow piles in the background!)
Give a toddler a box and she will play for an hour!  Putting things in, taking things out, getting in, falling out, helping her friend Rylee in, and then crying because she wants her out.....  She loved that box!
Where's Rylee?

PEEK!

This is one of her favorite games!  It never gets old for either of us!  That cute smile is the best!  Notice Lane in the background getting my pen and taking notes!  Little stinker!
