Trash Can Old Lady

There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly!

This is our old lady! I made her with a flip lid trash can. Then I found an object that goes with everything that she swallowed. I hand them out to the kids. When it comes to their object in the book, then they "feed" the old lady!

The trunk is a gray sock and the "speck" is a pom glued on top of a pipe cleaner!

Rolo Turtles

You will need:  Square Pretzel, Rolos, Pecans
Lay out pretzel and place a rolo on top of each one.  Put in oven on 350 degrees for 4 minutes.  Remove and place pecan on top of each rolo.  Let cool.  Enjoy!

Are You My Mother?

 Birds in their nest treat!  Melt peanut butter chips in a bowl and stir in Rice Krispies and Choy Mein noodles.  Drop on wax paper and form into nests.  Add Peeps bird and jelly beans for eggs!

Bird treats!  Spread peanut butter onto a toilet paper tube and roll in bird seed.  Slide onto a branch and hope that the squirrels don't steal them!

We painted our vests camouflage, made our safari maps, and brought our binoculars!  It was also pajama day that day too!
