Moon Rocks

We balled up some aluminum foil and then painted them black and sprinkled on some glitter!

Shoebox Planetarium

 They painted the inside of their shoebox black and stuck on glow in the dark stickers!

 This is a view from the inside of the planetarium!

I covered the outside with white paper and let them decorate it!

Flying Saucers

We used paper bowls and silver paint.  Once the bowls were dry and we glued them together, we glued sequins around the flying saucer for the lights!

Ice Cube Painting

 Put paint in an ice cube tray.  Cover it with foil and then poke popsicle sticks in each cube space.  Let freeze for 24 hours.  Make sure to take them out of the freezer about 5 minutes before the kids use them.

I got this fish from http://www.orientaltrading.com.  The kids used bingo blotters to decorate them.  They look really cool hanging in our ocean room!

This paint additive is my favorite.  You just add it to the paint.  Less mess!  A little goes a long way.  The paper plate fish below have the shimmer, but I couldn't get a good picture to see it.  You can buy this at http://www.discountschoolsupply.com.

Tractor Wheel Painting

I put brown paint on the tray and the kids ran the tractor throught it and then drove it on their paper!

The Paperplate Chick Mask

Your probably wondering how I cut out such perfect circles.  I have a circle punch, it makes it SO much easier!

Finger Puppet Butterflies

I used a butterfly die to cut out white butterflies and then I cut a small slit in the middle. The kids colored them and made them fly around while we sang, "Flitter, Flutter Butterfly".
